We are here because not all heroes wear capes! 1000's of people every year live with discomfort in the ear or reduced hearing simply because they either don't have access to an affordable service or they don't know that a simple solution exists and its our goal to change that in Kent and bring a reliable solution to all those that need this ear care.
Who are Wax Hearo?
We are a family run ear wax removal service operating in east Kent. In 2023 we have community clinics opening in Thanet, Medway & Maidstone as well as offering home visits across Kent.
What is microsuction?
Microsuction is the removal of wax, infection, debris and foreign bodies from your ears. We will look at your ear through a microscope, and will then use a small suction tube to remove the wax & anything else we find. This can be noisy due to the suction machine however, it should not be painful. If it is uncomfortable, let us know and we will stop the procedure & check in with you. You will be asked to keep still as possible unless asked to move. This is important as helps us keep you safe & well.
The Tympa system is the world’s first all-in-one ear and hearing healthcare assessment device. It brings together three different diagnostic and treatment systems into one hand-held portable system. With the Tympa system you get: high-definition digital otoscopy for examinations, microsuction for wax and debris removal, and a hearing screening test.

Where are we based?
Home Visits
We are based in Ramsgate and most of our work is east Kent but give us a call as we offer our services across all of the south east just be aware more than an hours travel we may have to charge a small fee to cover millage costs.
Community Clinics
We Currently have a clinic in Grange road, Ramsgate & one shortly opening on the Palm Bay estate, Margate.
However we hope to open soon in Medway, Maidstone & Canterbury.
Care Homes
In care homes we don't charge a call out fee so its same cost as one of our clinics, If you are interested in us coming to a care home you or a loved one is in please get in touch so we can arrange it with the home management.

We just want you to receive the quality care that you need, if we can't give you an appointment in a timely manner we will point you to someone in your local area who can.
We make sure before anyone goes anywhere near your ears they are competent, certified & insured to be doing the job.
We specialize in care within the community either coming to your home or at one of our local day clinics.
We are fully transparent on costs and charge for the appointed time with a team member so have no benefit in trying to "upsell" you to products of services that you don't need.
We can provide video/photo of our procedures to yourself or your GP should any further care be needed or conditions found.
